The Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist (BCMAS®) certification is the most comprehensive Medical Affairs & Medical Science Liaison professional development and training program in the world.
Achieving the BCMAS demonstrates the highest standards of knowledge and excellence in the Medical Affairs profession. It also sets the stage for continual professional development through values centered on lifelong learning.
As a BCMAS certified professional, you must meet specified requirements in order to maintain and renew your certification every five (5) years. Maintaining your certification is important as a professional.

The BCMAS credential is valid for five (5) years. To keep your certification active, there are two paths:
Recertification Option 1: Completing twenty (20) hours of continuing education modules provided by the ACMA and successful quiz completion of each module
Recertification Option 2 : Retaking and passing the board exam
The cost for recertification is $499 USD.
Option 1 - If you decide to complete 20 hours of CE, below are the courses that can be taken for recertification:
